Baltimore- A Baltimore police officer who was shot three times last week remains in critical condition Sunday.
Court documents say Officer Dante Hemingway exchanged gunfire Thursday while he was being robbed. He could undergo a third surgery.
The 28-year-old was shot in the neck, chest and stomach after the shootout at a public housing complex.
Twenty-year-old Jobrey Lodge has been charged with attempted murder. He was shot in the leg during the confrontation.
Police say about 20 shots were exchanged in the gun fight.
