CINCINNATI — A woman was arrested and charged with kicking and stomping on a police officer here as he tried to administer a Breathalyzer test.
Casey Carr, 23, faces charges of assault, disorderly conduct while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol and refusing to take a chemical test. She was booked into the Hamilton County jail early Monday and remained locked up Tuesday morning.
According to court documents, Carr kicked and stomped on Officer Thomas Stanton’s right leg and foot early Monday after her 2007 Toyota was pulled over.
She resisted arrest by placing her hands behind her back and refusing to let Stanton handcuff her. She tensed her body and told the officer: “I’m not going to jail. You are not arresting me.”
The officer warned her at least three times if she continued to resist, she would be shocked with a Taser stun gun.
Once police got Carr to District 5 headquarters, she attacked Stanton and refused to submit to a breath test to measure her level of intoxication, court records show.
She stood up twice while the test was being administered and tried to walk away.
