Rob Lawrence is a seasoned leader in civilian and military EMS, with over three decades of experience in emergency management. Currently serving as the director of strategic implementation for PRO EMS and its educational arm, Prodigy EMS, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he also runs Robert Lawrence Consulting, where his key client is the California Ambulance Association, where he serves as Executive Director. Rob’s distinguished career includes roles as COO of the Richmond Ambulance Authority, where he led the agency to state and national EMS Agency of the Year awards, and as COO for Paramedics Plus in Alameda County, California. In the UK, he was the first ambulance officer appointed as chair of a county Strategic Coordination Group, leading emergency disaster response operations, including the 7/7 London bombings. In the U.S., he led the ESF8 function for the City of Richmond EOC and acted as Unified Commander for numerous high-profile events. Jason Franks is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over 30 years of experience in the IT and cybersecurity industry. Throughout his career, Jason has provided comprehensive cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance strategies and solutions to various government and public safety entities. Bill Ott brings more than four decades of emergency medical, military, defense intelligence and special operations technology experience to FirstWatch. Bill has worked extensively managing secure data and voice communications networks and technologies involving wired, fiber, wireless, and satellite technologies with computers, radios, phones, and embedded technologies. He also has wide-ranging experience managing firewall and VPN technologies and conducting both red and blue team exercises to test and validate deployed security technologies and their users. Bill is a frequent writer and speaker in EMS, intelligence and technology journals and conferences.
Jason Wright is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with 20+ years of frontline experience helping government organizations respond to and defend against cybersecurity incidents. Mr. Wright leads the Mandiant, Google Public Sector teams responsible for Incident Response and Red team services, as well as program development for clients across State, Local, and Education clients. Prior to Mandiant, Mr. Wright began his career working for the National Security Agency and then held lead roles in forensics and incident response at Parsons Corporations and Chiron Technology Services.
