MEET THE SPEAKERS:
Jay Kaine serves as the Director of Threat Intelligence for Motorola Solutions’ Cybersecurity Services organization which includes the Public Safety Threat Alliance information sharing and analysis organization (ISAO). He is responsible for the plans and operations of the PSTA, which informs and protects public safety organizations globally against cybersecurity threats. Jay’s background and experience includes over 25 years in private and public sector roles supporting U.S. national security, including service as a U.S. Army Cyber Officer.
Gary Greg is the Technical Services Manager for the Euless, Texas Police Department. Gary has 35 years of progressive management experience in municipal government, in both public safety and information technology. Drawing from his extensive background, Gary remains focused on implementing technology to improve access to information and allow for data-based decision making.
Elliot Linke is the Director of Emergency Communications in Ford County, Kansas. Elliot also serves as the Motorola Trunked Users Group (MTUG) Cybersecurity Chair, and he is the current National President for MTUG. He has extensive experience in communications center systems design, radio systems design, operational policy, strategic organizational policy,and he is a current Type III Communications Unit Leader (COML). Additionally, Elliot’s background includes service as a full-time Firefighter Paramedic in Monument, Colorado for 16 years. During that time, he served as a qualified COML, Incident Communications Center Manager (INCM) and Communications Technician (COMT) for multiple large federal wildland responses, as well as serving in multiple roles with local communications groups and boards.
Garrett Hagood is a healthcare security leader who serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the Coastal Bend Regional Advisory Council (CBRAC) in Texas. At CBRAC, Garrett drives the Hospital Preparedness and Emergency Medical Task Force 11 programs, ensuring response readiness. With a background as a Paramedic, Garrett transitioned to Emergency Management in 2016. As the CISO, he oversees security governance, policy, and regional healthcare collaboration, also participating in various healthcare security councils and fusion centers. Garrett’s journey exemplifies his commitment to healthcare resilience and collaborative leadership.
