In response to officer safety tip 04/15/2004 (never cross draw the X-26), the problem of the cartridge coming off can be rectified by drawing the equipment down and then out. If you unholster by pulling straight across your body the holster will pinch the release mechanism. Practice pulling down prior to unholstering and you will create “muscle memory”.
