THE STUNNING POWER OF GOD

Our Police Department now has the newest crime-fighting weapon, The Tazer stun gun. Recently our Chief and Commander went before the Village Boards and allowed themselves to get “Tazered” as demonstration of the power these units. I asked the Chief about his experience and he was totally incapacitated when the unit applied the power. I would also like to share with you this month the stunning and life changing power of God in your life. 4. Many Other Attributes Of God Could Be Listed -* God Is Gracious- * God Is self-sufficient * God Is Wise* God Is Incomprehensible* God Is Self-Existent* God Is Faithful* God Is Merciful* God Is Good* God Is Longsuffering. ASK THE CHAPLAIN

Q: Are Chaplains allowed to perform weddings?

A: Chaplains are required to be Ordained in the faith they are representing, being an Ordained Minister is required by most States so the answer is yes but the Chaplain must decide if he would be ok to do the honors.

Q: How do you handle a crisis if the victim is not religious?

A: Chaplains are trained professionals that have experience in assisting officers during theses times. The Police Chaplain programs are designed to assist anyone who needs a calm and kind voice in a time of crises. This is a great asset to the Officers during a time of crises.

Q: How do we start a Chaplain program with our Department?

A: I like to recommend the International Conference of Police Chaplains Liaison Program, which is a great resource for starting a Chaplains program for your Department.
