NEPTUNE CITY, N.J. — New Jersey State Police surprised sick children in the ICU with a visit.

One video posted to the department’s Facebook went viral and features a boy named Zachery, Inside Edition reported. Zachery hung out with officers at K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital on April 18 and told them about his favorite topic -- the Titanic.

“Cuteness level: expert,” the department wrote via Facebook.

Zachery has been in the hospital since being hit by a truck last week. He was one of many children the officers visited.

The department posted videos and photos to Facebook of their visits and garnered several thousand likes.

The department planned the visit as part of outside of class training, according to the post.

“Our instructors are always looking for new and innovative ways to employ leadership training, and I think this block of in instruction on servant leadership is a great example of that,” Colonel Rick Fuentes said.
