LAS VEGAS — A Nevada court officer was hurt in a videotaped scuffle with a 36-year-old woman who fought being taken into custody following a mental health court hearing.
Records show Latasha Williams remained jailed Thursday following the Tuesday morning outburst in Clark County District Court Judge Jackie Glass’ courtroom.
Clark County courts spokeswoman Mary Ann Price released the videotaped court record showing several uniformed court marshals struggling to control Williams. The judge remained in the courtroom but wasn’t involved in the fray. She declined to comment Thursday.
