NEW YORK — Chris Brown, an R&B artist also known for his embattled relationship to music star Rihanna, posted a now-deleted video on Instagram telling his followers, “F--- the pigs” after protests at Donald Trump rallies ended in arrests, The Washington Times reported.
In all caps, he wrote, “F— TRUMP AND F— THE PIGS!” as a caption under a video that urged black protesters to attend the rallies in large groups to avoid “getting assaulted.”
“All these black people, go together 40, 50 deep. See what they do then,” he said in the video.
Brown also wrote, “God will have his revenge” in the caption.
The post received nearly 200,000 likes before being removed.
Trump himself has received criticism for defending his supporters, which has resulted in allegations he’s openly inciting violence.
“When they see what’s going on in this country, they have anger that’s unbelievable,” he said at Thursday’s GOP debate. “They love this country.”
