SEYMOUR, Conn. — Police Officer Anthony Renaldi has been cleared of any wrongdoing during a March 2012 police chase that took place before a fatal accident involving an Oxford teen.

Lt. Paul Satkowski Monday released his internal affairs investigation into Renaldi’s actions and concluded the officer did not violate any policies or procedures when he pursued a car with three teens just before midnight March 9, 2012.

“Based on the facts that were presented before me during the course of my investigation, it is my finding that no administrative action be taken against Officer Anthony Renaldi, as I could not find any violation of policy or procedure surrounding this incident,” Satkowski wrote in his 18-page report.
