STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. — Steamboat Springs police said they had to use a Taser on a horseback rider following a disturbance at a downtown bar Sunday night.
Steamboat Springs resident Michael Joseph Miller was arrested after ignoring commands from officers, according to Sgt. John McCartin.
Police were first called to the Old Town Pub on a report of a disturbance. One patron snapped a cellphone photo of a woman on horseback inside the bar. When police arrived, the horseback riders were gone, but officers located several riders a short time later, McCartin told Steamboat Today.
Miller was arrested on suspicion of harassment, disorderly conduct, obstructing a police officer and resisting arrest, Steamboat Today reported.
Police said they were continuing to investigate the incident.
