I test flashlights all the time so very few jump out at me as “gotta have” products. Today, it’s the ElZetta Modular Flashlight. The ElZetta Modular Flashlight can be made into 144 unique configurations and it’s designed, manufactured, and procured in the U.S.
Instead of using a reflector, ElZetta uses a solid lens that reflects/concentrates the beam. Not only does this improve the definition of the output, it also is considerably more shock-resistant. The circuitry is sealed in epoxy, reducing the likelihood of a hard fall, injuring the unit.
This was proven over and over as they hammered nails into some 2x4’s with the same light all day long at SHOT Show.
The ElZetta Modular Flashlight comes in 1-3 cell models. They have high output (235-900 lumens) and standard output models. The lens can be purchased as a flood or beam unit. All units can be weapon-mounted and the tail switches come in several different configurations.
