NEW YORK — After shooting at officers in an upstate New York hospital Friday, a suspect on the run made a pit stop to rob a store clerk Monday morning before escaping again, NBC4 reported.
Joshua Stuart, 42, resurfaced briefly Monday morning when he entered a Brooklyn store, pulled a gun on the clerk and stole his wallet containing $50 and a credit card.
Officials have been pursuing Stuart since Friday, when he fired on officers at Ellenville Regional Hospital and escaped into nearby woods. No injuries were reported in the shooting.
Authorities describe Stuart as armed and dangerous. He is believed to be carrying a semi-automatic pistol and was last seen wearing a black and white shirt and dark pants.
