New Jersey: Newark officer fatally shot suspect in custody, police say.

Florida: Suspect shot and killed by an Orange County sheriff’s deputy after allegedly lunging at her early Monday.

Utah: Police cleared in taser death of man. Autopsy results show the Salt Lake City man who died in April after police Tasered him several times was high on cocaine and meth.

Nevada: Las Vegas sees rise in officers shooting suspects.

Florida: Tasered officer is charged, resigns.

Florida: Water causes Taser to misfire. A deputy’s weapon fires into his holster while he’s making an arrest. Officials think the electrical device malfunctioned because rainwater damaged it. The deputy wasn’t hurt.

Connecticut: Wrong man on the wrong end of a Taser.

Virginia: A Richmond Police officer rescued a 5-year-old boy from the James River over the weekend.

Colorado: Police chief wasn’t ready to fire officer over Taser incident.
