DALLAS — In a video released by TMZ, former Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle is heard saying that his recent arrest on an Irving street is “the end of his career.”

Randle was booked into the Irving Jail on a warrant for speeding in a school zone in Coppell. He was arrested early Monday morning while sitting in a car near an ex-girlfriend’s home in the 1700 block of Finley Road, police said.

He was not listed in the jail log Wednesday night.

In the video, 24-year-old Randle tells police that he drove down to the house to retrieve his car, which someone took from his Kansas home without asking him, but the car wasn’t there.

He tells the officer he was hoping to sleep at the house where he says the mother of his child lives — or in his car — until he could return to Wichita in the morning. The officer tells Randle, “That’s why I’m here, because they’re calling.”

When the officer says the people in the house don’t know why he’s sitting outside, Randle replies, “She knows why I’m here, because she kicked me out.”

Asked what he does for work, Randle replies “I’m a free agent.” The Cowboys released Randle in November.

Eventually, the officer cuts to the chase — “Here’s the deal man, you’re wanted” — and asks him to step out of the car.

Randle is heard saying “this is the end of my career.” When a second officer tries to tell him it’s not as bad as it seems, Randle disagrees.

“They going to push this all over the place,” he says. “‘Randle arrested again.’”

The former Oklahoma State running back was arrested in October 2014 at the Stonebriar Centre mall after Frisco police said he tried to take a bottle of cologne and a pack of underwear from Dillard’s. The misdemeanor theft charge was later dismissed.

Four months later he was arrested in Wichita where police responded to a domestic violence call from his hotel room. Randle said the incident stemmed from an argument with an ex-girlfriend. He was cited for marijuana possession, but the charge was dropped.

The district attorney in the domestic violence case said Randle wouldn’t face felony charges because of a lack of evidence. Randle was accused of pointing a gun at his former girlfriend and her friend.
