The Police1 SHOT Show team shot hundreds of rounds of ammunition on range day, walked dozens of miles through the exhibit hall, and talked to more manufacturers, experts and reps than we can remember at the year’s premiere shooting, hunting and outdoor tradeshow in Las Vegas.
Most of the products our team tried, wrote about and discussed on the Police1 YouTube channel are already available from your local and online retailers, as well as from Amazon, the retail giant that stocks just about everything for shooters and hunters except firearms.
From knives to firearms security, here are some of our favorite products from SHOT Show 2024 that are available right now.

1. Ocaso Knives Strategy: The Ocaso Knives Strategy is a folding knife that features German K110 steel and G10 scales and is available in Jade G10, carbon fiber, Satin black G10 and aircraft aluminum. 2. Spyderco Para Military 2: The Spyderco SALT Paramilitary 2 is new in CPM Magnacut. The G10 scales have more texturing, consistent with the SALT series of knives. The units allow personnel to secure firearms when vaults and other non-portable storage solutions aren’t available. 5. Coast ZITHION-X AA/AAA Rechargeable Batteries: Coast ZITHION lithium rechargeable AA and AAA batteries can be charged individually or four-at-time. These quick charging cells modulate their power supply up or down based on the need and are good for 1,000 charges.
6. OffGrid Faraday Bags: OffGrid’s high-quality Faraday bags for phones, tablets and laptops prevent electronic devices inside the bag from communicating with the outside world. OffGrid Faraday bags have a magnetic closure and RF-welded seams, instead of sewn or taped seams, which can allow signals to leak into or out of a bag. If you’re going to go to the trouble of protecting a device, take this extra precaution to prevent unauthorized access to devices. OffGrid’s roots are in making bags for law enforcement agencies to protect captured electronic evidence from communication that would cause evidence contamination or remote destruction.
