Authorities have released the sketch of a man they believe could be impersonating an officer in Palm Beach County and may be linked to an attempted sexual assault.

The man was driving a black four-door vehicle when he used emergency lights to pull over a woman around midnight on April 30, according to a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office release.

The man requested that she get out of her car so he could search her for a weapon, the release said. When she hesitated, he forced her out and attempted to sexually assault her.

The man is described as being about 35 years old, 6-feet-1 and 195 pounds. He has no facial hair, a muscular build and a small scar beneath his right eye. He has a tattoo on the left side of his neck: “Jayla” in cursive letters.

On the night of the assault, he was wearing a black, long-sleeved shirt and a black baseball cap that said “Trooper.”
