Ohio state trooper found dead while on duty

FINDLAY, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is mourning Sgt. Jared Ulinski, who died in the line of duty on Saturday.

Ulinski was found dead at the patrol’s post in Findlay, Ohio, the agency reported on Facebook. The agency did not immediately reveal his cause of death.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine tweeted that flags on public buildings would fly at half-staff in Ulinski’s honor.

Ulinski joined the agency in 1999.
