A fellow officer arrested a suspect for possession of cocaine. While doing a search of the vehicle he found a needle in between the seats. As the needles was removed by the safe end, the officer discovered the needle had been bent over backwards out to a 90 degree angle and then had the cap in place with a small portion of the needle sticking out from the bottom of the cap. If he had not been paying attention he would have been stuck since the needle appeared to be capped. Something to think about.
