1. Where did your company name originate from?
Rapid response is a major priority for modern law enforcement and military personnel, so Rapid Force was a natural fit for a brand name.

2. What was the inspiration behind starting your company?
We were inspired by listening to law enforcement officers express their frustrations with our competitors’ offerings. We knew there had to be a better way to build a duty holster that would perform at the level needed. We got a lot of input from real officers and military personnel, and the most common complaint is usually the retention system, which tends to be ergonomically inefficient and has a steep learning curve before becoming proficient using them.

We set out to make a duty holster that could stand up to the abuse in the field and facilitate a faster draw with a more intuitive retention system, but without compromising retention.

3. What is your signature product and how does it work?
The Rapid Force Duty Holster and the innovative Gross Motor Response (GMR) control system is what this brand is built around. The GMR can be deactivated with a single motion of the shooting hand thumb, without breaking a shooting grip. Better ergonomics, faster draw time, but no loss of security.

4. Why do you believe your products are essential to the police community?
We think that law enforcement officers should be, and must be, equipped with the best equipment possible for them to do their jobs and go home after their shift. Our duty holster is the most reliable holster on the market. Officers that use our holster can be confident that they’ll be able to do their job in the fastest, most secure way possible.

5. What has been the biggest challenge your company has faced?
The biggest challenge has been achieving the right balance of factors in terms of the overall design. A duty holster has to do a lot of things really well to be dependable, and making a holster that does one or two things well is rather simple, but making one that excels everywhere is a lot harder.

6. What makes your company unique?
Most duty holster makers are worried about the retention features first, and how easy it is for the user to use the holster second. We think that there shouldn’t be a compromise; both are equally important and have to be design priorities.

7. What do your customers like best about you and your products?
Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. The LEOs that have used our holster rave about how intuitive and easy to use it is, as well as the security and quality of the product.

8. What is the most rewarding part of serving the first responder community?
The most rewarding part of serving the first responder community is knowing that we can provide a product that helps them do their job better. We love knowing that our holsters play a part in saving lives and protecting people.

9. Do you support any charitable organizations within public safety? Tell us more.
We have donated money and gear to a number of police departments and organizations nationwide over the years.

10. Is there any fun fact or trivia that you’d like to share about you or your company?
We’re a proudly American company. Almost all of our components are sourced domestically, we don’t outsource labor or customer service, and we do every possible thing we can in-house from production to marketing. That creates jobs and community, which is something we are very proud of.

11. What’s next for your company? Any upcoming new projects or initiatives?
Yes! A number of accessories for the Rapid Force line are in development that we’re really excited about, but we can’t tell you what they are yet! It will have to be a surprise. What we can definitely tell you is we’re also working on Rapid Force holsters for other commonly used military and duty pistols besides Glocks, so those will be available in the near future.
