Thanks to Public Information Officer/Community Education Specialist Tim Mapes from the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office in Redding, California for sending these photos taken during the department’s monthly Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) training.
“These photos were taken in remote Eastern Shasta County in an area frequented by those who enjoy off-road snow sports. Our team members practiced searching for lost individuals using cameras and FLIR capabilities,” Tim said.
