Conn. police find $10 million worth of coke in limo in routine stop

STAMFORD, Conn.- A routine traffic stop Tuesday morning led to the seizure of $10 million in cocaine and the arrest of a limousine driver and his passenger, police said.

Livery driver Luis Vavanco, 39, of Jersey City, N.J., and Nicolas Becema Asensio 38, of Huron, Calif., face charges of possessing cocaine with intent to sell.

The Lincoln Town Car Vavanco was driving was pulled over on Jefferson Street at about 6:40 a.m. after running a red light, police said.
