But members of the man’s family dispute police accounts, and say they believe he was the victim of police misconduct.

Kentucky: A man was shot and killed Sunday by a Lebanon Junction police officer who was trying to serve felony warrants on the man at his home.

Georgia: Officer assaulted, weapon taken; Suspect at large.

Washington: Local police take down a man who threatens to blow himself up. Police wanted the man for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, but when they found him officers had to use force to make the arrest.

California: An Oakley police officer was seriously injured Thursday afternoon after his patrol car was broadsided by a movers’ truck during a high-speed pursuit.

Pennsylvania: A crisis team at Cambria County Prison shot and killed an inmate facing trial for murder after the inmate took a corrections officer hostage with a self-made knife.

Pennsylvania: A man being pursued by police after an alleged armed robbery attempt was involved in a five-vehicle crash that killed him and injured eight others, police said.
