LARGO, Fla. — A drunk Florida man who said he had the “munchies” called 911 after he was refused service at Taco Bell.
Terry Kimbell, 50, walked up to a drive-thru window but was turned away by store employees, who said that customers are prohibited from standing in the area for safety reasons.
In a discussion lengthier than necessary given the situation, Kimbell laid out his list of grievances for 911 dispatchers, asking for help home and for some kind of action against Taco Bell workers.
“When I get refused service for no reason it T’s me off,” he said. “So, I call you guys. Does that make sense?”
He remained on the phone until officers arrived and arrested him for misusing 911, according to The St. Petersburg Times. He was jailed early Wednesday.
