ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A 6-year-old boy deeply affected by the mass shooting in Orlando asked a group of officers at a restaurant to pray with him.
Fox News reports the boy, Joshua, was finishing up breakfast with his mother at a restaurant when a group of police officers came in.
As Joshua prepared to leave the restaurant, he approached the officers and asked if he could pray with them for their safety.
The boy is very active in the church and was troubled by the massacre in Orlando earlier this month. He’s even asked members of his local church to pray for the victims.
“He knows what’s going on in the world, and he doesn’t like it,” Joshua’s mother told Fox News.
