HALLSVILLE, Texas - A surprisingly understanding Texas police chief hailed a local high school’s “epic” senior prank, in which the teens took the tires off a police cruiser and left it up on blocks.
Several members of the Hallsville High School 2016 senior class allegedly stripped the tires off cruiser late Tuesday night, an act caught on the department’s security cameras.
“That’s funny, it’s an epic prank, I’ve never seen a prank that well planned out,” said Police Chief Paul Montoya of the teens’ “ninja, NASCAR tactics of jacking it up”.
While lighthearted, the chief did deliver the message that the department’s positive reaction shouldn’t be seen as a “free ride” for others to enact similar mischief.
