Survey: LEO responses sought for employee assistance programs underutilization study

Respondents will not be required to list their name or department

By Police1 Staff

Researchers at Walden University are seeking participants for a study investigating the underutilization of employee assistance programs by police officers. Certified officers are asked to fill out an anonymous survey.

The survey, which takes about 10-15 minutes, will not require a respondent’s name or department.

Researchers say the purpose of the study is to gain insight into factors -- such as stigma, years of police service, rank, gender, and years of education -- that may contribute to the underutilization of these programs.
