DIGBETH, England — Video captured a Lamorghini driver verbally abusing officers who stopped him.
According to the Birmingham Mail, 21-year-old Aleem Iqbal was driving a Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster when he was stopped by officers for what they called a “routine check.”
The video, which begins after the stop has occurred, shows Iqbal standing at one of the windows of the police vehicle and saying to the officers, “Why you looking at me? Trust me bro, my shoes are probably worth more than your ******* wages.” Iqbal drives off shortly after.
Lqbal, who goes by the name ‘Lord’ Aleem, is a young millionaire who runs Platinum Executive Travel – a luxury car hire firm – along with his father, according to The Sun. Aleem is known for showing off his collection of expensive cars on social media.
Aleem later apologized for the incident through his agent, according to the report.
“Having had time to reflect on what happened and having spoken to his family, Aleem would like to apologize to the police officers involved for the way the situation escalated,” the agent said.
