Just a friendly reminder to always make sure you check the necks of your suspects for any kind of necklaces. On Fort Lewis I deal with mostly military people who always tend to have a lot of knifes on them (concealed guns are prohibited). I have found an increasing amount of small knives being placed on necklaces.
Also, I have been in contact with a few people who have had handcuff keys on their necklaces. This is why if they have anything more then just the chain, the necklace comes off, period. Stay safe out there guys!
