On November 30, 2007 law enforcement officers in Pennsylvania arrested a man after they observed him concealing a firearm in the small of his back. The man was found to be in possession of an FN Herstal “57” semi-automatic pistol, a Keltec .380 caliber semiautomatic pistol and $1,140 in U.S. currency. The man was wearing the
ballistic jacket pictured below at the time of his arrest. The jacket is manufactured in Israel and is one of several styles that are available internationally. Four photos follow. Please pay careful attention to the brand mark and logo, to help identify ballistic garments of this type that you may encounter during your duties.
