I’ve recently discovered that implanting paranoia into the minds of your local street corner drug dealers goes a long way.
I regularly stalk any group of known dealers or lookouts by parking my cruiser in full view, a safe distance away and with my seat belt off, and proceeding to grab the mic and speak while maintaining visual. I try to make it seem as if I’m coordinating some big raid.
I even go as far as using my binoculars to “positively identify” members of the group and having a secondary unit slowly cruise by and make eye contact.
Sure enough, paranoia quickly sets in and the group will usually disperse. This is when I’ll get out on foot in the area and more often than not, find their hidden stash.
