DOVER, Pa. — The Northern York County Regional Police Department dashboard camera footage of an attempted officer homicide in Manchester Township.

Police are continuing to investigate the Nov. 22 incident in which they said Trev Bowies Jackson, 24, shot three rounds at Northern York County Regional Police Officer Lynn Anderson after being pulled over in a Route 30 shopping center for suspected DUI. A news conference is planned at noon Wednesday.

After Jackson shot at him, Anderson leaned to his left and rolled to the ground, police said. The officer stood up and fired six shots toward Jackson, who was back inside his car, according to an arrest warrant. The officer’s responding shots are not shown in the video released Wednesday. Jackson fled the scene.

Jackson, of the 100 block of East College Avenue in York, is still at large. Police said last week they believed Jackson was injured in the incident, after they found blood in his car.

Jackson has been charged with criminal attempt of homicide, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment of another person.

He is considered armed and dangerous. He is 5-foot-7, weighs 170 pounds and was last seen wearing a tan hooded jacket and blue jeans, according to police.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Northern York County Regional Police Department at (717) 292-3647, call 911 or use the crime tip page on the Northern Regional website.

The department is offering a cash reward for help finding Jackson. Anyone with information can call the crime stoppers at 1-800-472-8477.
