Some expandable baton holders have open ends. In inclement or cold weather, you may get moisture in your baton. To remedy this, place a small balloon just over the tip to keep water out and to prevent possible freezing. Then when you have to wrestle a suspect and thus extract the baton with proper force, the balloon will come right off the end.
