MOBILE, Ala. — An Alabama man teamed up with the Mobile Police Department to give his girlfriend a marriage proposal to remember.
Daiwon McPherson planned the fake “police pursuit” for two months, ABC13 reported.
After McPherson and the officers set up the scene, Shawna Blackmon received a call that her boyfriend was in trouble.
Officers drew their TASERS just as Blackmon arrived to calm the situation. And that’s when McPherson proposed.
McPherson told the news station he came up with the idea to send the message that police and communities can work together.
