ROSEVILLE, Minn. — A Minneapolis police officer and his K-9 officer are recovering from minor injuries after a car chase that ended with a crash in Roseville, Minn. Friday night.
The chase started just after 8 p.m. on eastbound Highway 13 and Marshall Avenue in northeast Minneapolis after officers spotted a vehicle driving erratically.
The K-9 officer ran away and was tracked down about seven miles away from the crash scene. He was taken to the University of Minnesota veterinary hospital and was released back into the custody of his handler.
