Where did your company name originate from?
Air came from airsoft. Rattle came from battle rattle: the maximum amount of army gear that a soldier can be expected to carry.
What was the inspiration behind starting your company?
I was always a hunter, gun enthusiast, and loved almost any sport. I found all three in airsoft.
What is your signature product and how does it work?
The airsoft AEG gun, powered by a rechargeable battery pack, turns a motor which in turn drives a gearbox - creating air compression out of a nozzle that propels a BB forward. The flight path is controlled by a hop up unit located where a real gun’s breech would be. The magazines load the ammo by spring compression. Why do you believe your products are beneficial to the police community?
Airsoft allows the officer to train in real life settings without the damage and mess caused by simunition and paintball. Airsoft is highly cost-effective compared to any other training method, which is very import as prices continue to soar for sim rounds and their availability can be scarce at times. It is non-lethal- no accidental live rounds could ever be used. Airsoft is a great addition to any training regimen.
What has been the biggest challenge your company has faced?
Ensuring that all customers purchase and use smart chargers. The factory sends chargers with these guns that tend to ruin the batteries, leading people to believe they are defective.
What do your customers like best about your products?
Our ability to recommend product to the customer’s specific needs. We go out of our way to make sure our customers have excellent support when learning to operate and care for their airsoft guns and gear.
What is the most rewarding part of serving the first responder community?
Providing a safe and cost-effective training substitute to help officers prepare for the real life situations that save lives.
