BOSTON, Mass. —Three 15-year-olds were arrested overnight in Dorchester after police said one of the teenagers pointed a gun at an officer.
At 10 p.m., police responded to the sound of 15 to 20 gunshots fired on Washington Street. When police arrived, they saw four teenage males running into an alley.
Police said they chased the teens and one of them pointed a gun at an officer. The officer screamed, “Drop your weapon,” and the teens ran, police said.
Police followed the teens to a house on Lyndhurst Street, where three suspects were arrested. A fourth suspect remains at large.
The teenager accused of pointed a gun at an officer will be charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon, police said. The other teens face several other charges.
The three teens are scheduled to be arraigned today in Dorchester District Court.
