Pinellas County, Fla. deputies are searching for an escaped murder suspect after he ran from a transport van today.
Timothy Humphrey was last seen running north from the Pinellas County Jail around 1 p.m.
He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and black baggy pants; they look like sweats; deputies say he might have shaved off his facial hair.
Humphrey was being held on a first-degree murder charge, aggravated battery and tampering with a witness.
Two nearby schools, High Point Elementary School and Pinellas Technical Education Center, are in lockdown mode.
Anyone with information about Humphrey’s location is asked to call the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
