TAYLOR, Mich.- Police have arrested a suburban Detroit man they say was caught in Missouri driving a tractor-trailer packed with 1,500 pounds of marijuana.
Michigan State police say officers arrested the 39-year-old Taylor man without incident Friday. They didn’t release his name. He’s being held on a $500,000 bond while awaiting extradition.
Police say that sheriff’s deputies in Greene County, Missouri, pulled the man over late last year and arrested him on suspicion of felony drug trafficking. They say authorities mistakenly let him out of jail.
