POLK COUNTY, Fla. — Two suspects who fled on foot from a traffic stop learned the hard way that K-9s will always catch up.
Polk County Sheriff’s pulled over James Roberts and Teresa Hiddle for seatbelt and tag violations Saturday night, WCMH reported. They were allegedly in possession of meth as well.
According to deputies, the couple tried to flee down a dead-end road before turning around and trying to ram the patrol car.
When their efforts failed, they fled on foot into the woods, but K-9 Turbo tracked them down.
They were bitten after refusing to surrender.
“If K-9 Turbo could talk, this is what he would say, ‘If you are driving around with meth in your truck, you should buckle up,’” the Polk County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook.
