Depending on your needs (and budget), you could spend $250 on a small wireless, battery powered HP printer that could be with you in the cab of your vehicle, or you could spend under $100 for a small all-in-one printer (several brand names) that could be placed on the rear deck in the trunk of your patrol car. For my needs as a Watch Commander, the versatility of the all-in-ones is my preferance. If money is an issue, check with your department’s property warehouse to see if they have a program that allows your department to use unclaimed property.
