Re: PA Officer Elliot 04/04/05: I agree with Officer Elliot. As an instructor, I have utilized courses of fire which involve shooting from the prone, supine, fetal and sitting upright positions. Hopefully preparing them to deal with a deadly force threat while engaing from “awkward” positions. Great care must be taken during the live fire, but with safety being paramount, it has worked well. And, they enjoy the training!
