  • Ken Hardesty served seven years in the U.S. Marine Corps before deciding to pursue a career in law enforcement. He has served continuously for fourteen years in large California agencies. His assignments include Detention, Patrol, Field Training Officer, Specialist Officer, Academy Recruit Training Officer, Basic Academy Coordinator and In-Service Training Officer. Ken is California POST certified to teach Firearms, Defensive Tactics, Chemical Agents, First Aid/CPR and Patrol Response to Active Shooter. Additional certifications include, National Rifle Association Tactical Shooting Instructor, Surefire Low Light Instructor and PepperBall Instructor. He is a court-certified expert in Illegal Weapons, and serves as a subject matter expert for the State of California in the areas of Firearms and Chemical Agents. Ken teaches Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings for the Department of Homeland Security as well as Leadership and Firearms/Chemical Agents Program Evaluation for the California Commission on POST. Ken is Charter Member and on the Board of Advisors for NLEFIA. Ken enjoys spending time with family and is the proud father of two.

  • Kenneth Murray is the Director of Training for the Armiger Police Training Institute (www.armiger.net) located in the greater Orlando area of Florida. Born in Winnipeg, Canada, he has spent the past twenty years as a police and military trainer, specializing in the field of Reality Based Training. In the late 1980’s, he co-founded SIMUNITION® with David Luxton as an offshoot of the Armiger Corporation in Ottawa, Canada. He subsequently wrote numerous articles and policy papers on the safe conduct of projectile-based simulation training exercises.

  • In 1992, Chief Kenneth N. Berkowitz fulfilled his lifelong desire to become a police officer when he was hired as patrol officer for the Canton (Mass.) Police Department. Five years later he was promoted to Sergeant and in 1999 attained the rank of Lieutenant. In February of 2005, Ken had the distinct honor of being appointed as the 13th Chief of Police for the Canton Police Department.

  • Kindel Daniels served four years in the United States Air Force as a Security Specialist. He spent two years with the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia as a detention deputy. During his 15 years with the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office of Colorado, he was promoted to corporal and then sergeant and served on the Crisis/Hostage Negotiation Team. As a department trainer, he taught policy and detention philosophy in the detention center academy. He trained verbal communication skills in the Northern Colorado Law Enforcement POST academy.
