Book Review: Blowback

Title: Blowback

Author: Brad Thor

THIS JUST IN - Brad Thor’s previous stories – Lions of Lucerne, Path of the Assassin, and State of the Union, where Scott Harvath former Navy SEAL, Presidential Secret Service detail - main character was introduced, are being adapted for the big screen. Way to go Brad Thor…I can’t wait to see how the Producer splashes this over the big screen.

Brad Thor is now one of the newest members of the Dept. of Homeland Security’s “RED-CELL”, an elite group of writers and artists who are commissioned to dream up terrorist scenarios for our Government.

I have completed my copy of Blowback and must say, Brad you’ve really out done yourself this time. Scott Harvath’s travels into Cyprus, the Middle East, Switzerland, Paris, Italy and several other countries, his inadvertently being caught on Al-Jazeera TV while he’s clobbering a suspected terrorist, his search for a centuries old BIO-WARFARE device once carried into battle by Hannibal himself, that is now threatening to cause death and devastation amongst hundreds of thousands of people throughout the world; ultimately his fight to prevent this major terrorist attack – is set in current times, with today’s concerns of terrorist attacks at the front of our minds.

Brad Thor, your character, Scott Harvath really makes quite an impact while he works directly for the President in a secret intelligence/terrorist-elimination and tracking squad. The heavy impact of Scott’s mistakes on the President’s plans for re-election and their negative headlines they cause the President’s office are only part of the overall list of obstacles Scott Harvath must tackle and overcome as he hopes to prevent an all-out National/Worldwide catastrophe.

Bottomline:

If you’ve read Brad Thor’s books – then you know, he’s current. His material is set in today’s world and his writing is new. Don’t waste another minute, run down to your local bookstore and grab up a copy of Blowback.

Brad Thor’s newest novel, Blowback – once again featuring Scott Harvath is on the shelves and internet sales locations.
