Ohio: SWAT standoff ends with arrest; two wounded.

California: A Hayward police officer shot and killed a man Wednesday after he allegedly attacked the officer with a pipe and tried to take the officer’s weapon, authorities said.

Georgia: A Clayton County man is dead, shot by police responding to a domestic 911 call. Clayton County Police say the man was trying to kill his father, and his mother was barricaded in fear in an upstairs bedroom.

Indiana: Police thwart robbery in progress.

Ohio: Sheriff’s deputies, fire and emergency medical personnel followed proper procedures when a Williamsburg man crashed his car into a tree and acted in a threatening manner, leading to him being Tasered and medicated. Eventually, the man died, but the exact cause of death has not been determined.

Louisiana: A woman involved in a traffic wreck that killed a Baton Rouge police officer has been booked with negligent homicide and driving while intoxicated, authorities said.
