SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. — A Florida man attempted to hide underwater from police, but was arrested when he came up for air, Fox News reported.
According to the report, 36-year-old Daniel Christopher Booth had warrants out for his arrest for selling methamphetamine.
When police attempted to arrest Booth at a solar power plant he works at, he ran away and dove into a pond, the report stated.
“Now we can only assume that Mr. Booth has seen one too many action movies and thought he could hide from the K9 teams, from Suwannee CI and Mayo CI by hiding under the water in a pond,” the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook.
