NEW YORK — A judge had harsh words yesterday for a former community-affairs cop convicted in a spree of on-the-job sexual abuse - giving him five years in prison and a lecture for having “tarnished” his badge.

“I never once tarnished my shield,” Wilfredo Rosario protested, insisting that “eventually, the truth will come out.”

But Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Daniel FitzGerald wasn’t having it, saying, “Mr. Rosario, the truth did come out.”

Rosario was convicted in June of repeatedly groping, between 2004 and 2008, two women whom he had offered to help with after-school-program paperwork for their kids.

And he was found guilty in January of soliciting oral sex from a high-school student after issuing her a summons in Riverside Park.
