Reason?
One day you may find yourself in a fight for your life and your duty firearm(s) become ineffective, damaged, or have some form of malfunction.
If you’re lucky enough to have access to a ‘weapon of opportunity be present, having the knowledge to operate a wide-range of firearms will improve your chance of survival and success in such a struggle.
Attending local firearm shows is a perfect opportunity to see what new guns are on the market and how they function. If you work in an agency that allows you choose which firearm(s) you carry, familiarize yourself with your partner’s firearm and/or back up firearms as well.
Stay safe. Watch your six.
