MT. GAMBIER, Australia — Two men suspected of leading police on multiple high-speed pursuits in four different stolen cars will likely face more charges, prosecutors said.
Police viewed CCTV footage and will consider up to 15 additional counts for Benjamin Nona-Wilson and Andrew Max Moulden, whose current charges include theft and reckless driving.
The first pursuit began when Moulden and Nona-Wilson allegedly stole a white Holden Commodore June 28, according to the Herald Sun. Authorities abandoned the chase in Naracoorte, where the men drove a second stolen car to Mt Barker.
Then, the pair carjacked a four-wheel drive vehicle and crashed, according to the article. One of the men was arrested while the second carjacked a final vehicle before crashing into a fence and being taken into custody.
Moulden and Nona-Wilson were both on parole at the time. They will appear in court in November.
