PHILADELPHIA —Three police officers were injured when they crashed into each other during a motorcycle stunt performance.
ABC6 reported that the Philadelphia Highway Patrol officers were performing as part of IACP in front of hundreds of spectators when the crash occurred.
The officers, whose names have not been released but are 12-, 20- and 28-year veterans of the force, were transported to the hospital.
“They do a fabulous job for us. We can’t say enough about them. From me, I want them to know that,” Police Commissioner Richard Ross said. “It’s important if they don’t hear anything else that I’m proud of them and what they do, not only on the show, but for the citizens of Philadelphia each and every day.”
